If you are visiting us by car please park your car in Hamilton Street (Albans Road or any of the other surrounding streets), which is the first side street on your left when coming from London Road. You can see the Luxan Corner Shop from far.

There is a Residential Parking Scheme operating in the area. We have free parking tickets, which you can collect from us. There are also a few one hour free parking bays right by our back entrance (black gate and small white board on the wall).

Please give us a call on the mobile number above (07887 560 260) when you are at the black gate in Hamilton Street (our back entrance, the 28 Evington Road entrance is not in use) and someone will come out with a parking ticket and open the door. Our Intercom system is not working at the moment.

Thakura Bhaktivinoda was not official Spiritual Master of Gaura Kisora dasa Babaji Maharaja. Gaura Kisora dasa Babaji Maharaja was already renounced order, Paramahamsa, but Thakura Bhaktivinoda, while He was even playing the part of a householder, was treated by Gaura Kisora dasa Babaji Maharaja as Preceptor, on account of His highly elevated spiritual understanding, and thus He was always treating Him as His Spiritual Master. The Spiritual Master is divided into two parts; namely, siksa guru and diksa guru. So officially Bhaktivinoda Thakura was like siksa guru of Gaura Kisora das Babaji Maharaja. (Srila Prabhupada Letter to Dayananda, 1 May 1969)
